System Requirements:

The run Mp3Tools you need at least:

Microsoft Windows 2000, NT4, XP or greater operating system on NTFS partition
Intel Pentium III or compatible processor (recommended >= 1 GHz)
64 Mo of RAM
Free disk space : 15 Mo for install and after depends on your mp3 collection
Free memory : 5/20 Mo for base running and after depend on action and number of files in database

Options:

Audio device to play sound
WMA encoder to use WMA option (download wmfdist.exe if you don't have it - 3.89 Mo)
Internet connection for ftp, mail and others related tools
Internet Explorer 3.0 or greater for ftp
Internet Explorer 4.0 or greater for internal browser
A cdrom which has Digital Audio Extracting capabilities and DirectX 3.0 or greater for ripping
Shell32.dll version 4.0 or greater for some options
NT 4.0 or greater to use floppy image

Recommended configuration is for a big database Windows XP, 512 Mo or 1Go RAM on PIV > 2.4 GHz.

A resolution of 1024*768 is highly recommended at least...

Under VISTA you must deactivate the UAC option or have administrator rights. It is recommended to install Mp3Tools in another directory than <Program Files> (like another disk partition specially dedicated to your installed programs).

Installing Mp3Tools:

Installing Mp3Tools is straightforward and easy. Just double click on the Mp3Tools.msi file, that's all.

If you don't have MSI installer download one of these files : InstMSIW.exe or InstMSIA.exe

Uninstall Mp3Tools:

All the files are located in the Mp3Tools directory. Use Windows add/remove option or Mp3Tools uninstall icon to remove Mp3Tools.

User files and registry settings that has been modified will not be delete. You have to delete them manually if you want to completely remove Mp3Tools.

Registering Mp3Tools:

Mp3Tools is finger ware. If you like these tools you must send me a packet of finger (chocolate). Contact me for furthermore information.

Bugs reports and suggestions:

Do not send me large attachments of large files! If you have problems, well then you can send me an email with your specific problems.

Also include as much as possible information about like:

Which version of Mp3Tools do you use
Description of your system
If something does work, please explain as detailed as possible what you attempted to do
Screen copy, if applying, of Mp3Tools error dialog box

Furthermore, add the information, which is displayed in the System Info dialog box.
